We asked 50 serious Bitcoin holders — people who've held through multiple cycles — one question: What's on your desk that you can't live without?

The answers converged around five categories.

1. Hardware Wallet (100%)

Every single person mentioned their hardware wallet. Most keep it in a desk drawer, plugged in only when needed. Coldcard and Foundation Passport were the most common choices.

2. Privacy Screen (72%)

Nearly three-quarters of respondents use a privacy screen filter. The most common reason: 'I don't want anyone seeing my portfolio or transactions.'

3. Bitcoin Ticker (64%)

Almost two-thirds have some form of always-visible price display. Those with e-ink displays reported checking their phones significantly less often.

4. Faraday Pouch (58%)

More than half keep their phone in a signal-blocking pouch during focused work sessions. 'It eliminates the temptation to check notifications,' one respondent said.

5. Meaningful Art (51%)

Just over half have Bitcoin-related art on their wall or desk. Genesis block references were the most popular motif.

The Takeaway

The most serious Bitcoiners aren't running flashy setups. They're running intentional setups. Every item serves a purpose. Nothing is there for show.
